If you know enough about history, sociology, criminology, psychology, current affairs, human nature and what key ingredients are required to create and maintain civilisation and good order, it is entirely possible to predict future events, be they months away or years away.
It is my knowingness of a great many things, being a lifelong eager student and now educator and campaigner, that empowers me to be able to see the future.
Evidence of this is found in my predictions of Trump becoming president (which I predicted on the day he ran for office), my prediction that Brexit would become a reality (which I predicted back in 1999), my prediction that COVID would become a pandemic (which I predicted and raised awareness about from as early as January 22nd 2020) and my prediction that Russia would very imminently invade Ukraine (which I predicted on April 3rd 2021) despite all the political and military experts of the time insisting this would never happen—which I evidence within the book How We Will Create Peace in Ukraine and the World.
My predictions tend to be accurate. So here is another one:
Capital punishment will soon return to every nation, guaranteed.
My confidence in making this prediction is born out of my knowingness of what occurs in the event of the people, if given the Brexit-style ability to have a vote on capital punishment, choosing to vote NO, rather than YES.
First, let’s look at the referendum question.
It will not be so worded; yet, all will know these are the two options:
YES—I want capital punishment to forever exist as a deterrent. I want terrorists and rapists and paedophiles and traitors and serial killers and folk who sell drugs to children to be euthanized legally following a legal trial.
Or…
NO—I prefer to pay higher taxes in order to fund the prison stay, feeding and watering and rehousing, healthcare and welfare of every killer, paedophile, drug dealer, terrorist and violent criminal instead of legally euthanizing threats to my children and to myself and the community. I prefer to share the fruits of my labours with these threats, even when they are unrepentant and bound to reoffend again and again. I even want to aid the life-extension of the very worst and most violent psychopathic criminals who keep committing crimes even after they are released from prison. I prefer to gamble with the safety of my family, community and nation whilst paying higher taxes rather than end the threat and the financial expenditure immediately with a cheap length of rope.
If the people vote ‘NO’; if the people vote for higher taxes and greater tolerance for crime, violence and for criminals and recidivism and a supercharged amount of pacifism and neoliberal self-abnegation and self-harm, the floodgates of crime shall immediately swing open as the worst predators in our midst lick their lips and devour the citizenry one by one.
And there can be no complaints from the people, can there, when violent crime soars, when terrorism increases along with rape and murder after the majority voted to be empathic and understanding and forgiving and loving and tolerant towards unrepentant psychopaths and sociopaths who are only ever thinking about creating new victims, about causing new forms of hurt to people, who are only interested in being sadistic and destructive and anarchical and have no desire for community or redemption or rehabilitation.
If people vote against capital punishment, crime rates will rise exponentially; that is the first negative consequence.
The second will be the entire collapse of the democratic system, which will force politicians from all parties, anti-capital punishment advocates/human rights activists as well as many of the worst categories of criminals who were ‘saved from euthanasia’ to immediately flee to another nation, where they will apply for refugee status out of absolute necessity, and here’s why:
It matters not if those against the reintroduction of capital punishment identify as right wing or left wing; if the ‘NOs’ achieve victory, if capital punishment is defeated, after the very predictable increase in crime and apathy and disorder will come the predictable and inevitable rise of both the far left and the far right.
These forces will either clash or will unite; it would not be hard to bring these factions together, not hard whatsoever.
Once the people vote to be helpless victims, extremists will rise, vigilantes will rise, and the state, rather than attacking and punishing killers, terrorists and paedophiles and traitors and violent criminals and home invaders, will find itself attacking political activists from the left and the right who all desire peace, control and good order.
Martyrs will be created after protests and marches turn violent.
Before long, causes and movements will spring up around the martyrs as communities begin regretting voting in favour of the criminal minority.
These communities will now find themselves joining the marches and demonstrations, which empowers them, raises their spirits and makes them feel like men and women again, rather than like scared mice hiding in their homes from all the violent rapists, gangsters and terrorists just outside their front doors thanks to their liberal, tolerant vote against capital punishment.
Very predictably, clashes will continue until something akin to a putsch is attempted, which will likely fail; yet just as in the case of the Third Reich, it will likely lead to concessions being made and the extreme right-wing or extreme left-wing faction being invited into government, which will be the beginning of the end for democracy of course.
Before long, the only ones remaining in the House of Commons, within the Senate, within every House of Representatives will be those who are willing to die immediately for hard-working, righteous and law-abiding folk.
And what do you think will likely happen next? Yes, capital punishment will be enacted; yet, now, due to it being enacted by fascists or Marxists, new categories of people will be added to the list of those the state wants to euthanize, namely political rivals, pro-democracy advocates, liberal artists, millionaires/billionaires and the intelligentsia….
We can avoid this gloomy, depressing fate by allowing the people a free and fair vote on capital punishment in all democratic nations.
To deny this vote is to court destruction, just as voting the wrong way will guarantee destruction.
