The Future of the Monarchy and the Truth About Prince Andrew

Did Prince Andrew sabotage not only his own marriage but also the marriage of Charles and Diana as a result of him having an affair with Diana, which resulted in William, their love child?

This will be the conclusion of many who have read the book The Truth At Last! 33 Essential Questions for Prince Andrew.

Fergie (Sarah Ferguson) once said after her divorce from Prince Andrew, ‘I got the palace but not the man’—so who got the man?

Who got Prince Andrew? Who was the cause of the divorce between Sarah and Andrew?

It seems conclusive after watching the video above, in addition to reading Andrew’s instalment of the 33 Essential Questions book series, that it was Diana who ‘got the man’. The man being Prince Andrew.

Princess Diana, it is claimed by royal writer Richard Kay, sent him a short and blunt message on the eve of the ‘grand reveal’ about the ‘toe-sucking-scandal’, communicating to him simply, referring to the Duchess of York, “The redhead’s in trouble.”

The night before the infamous photos appeared on newspaper stands in the UK and around the world it is said that Diana referred to her sister-in-law not as Sarah, not as the Duchess of York or even as ‘Fergie’ but rather ‘The Redhead’. Where did this bitterness come from? We have no reason to doubt Kay’s story and version of events, which were previously published in the UK Daily Mail.

The intimacy between the two (Andrew and Diana) is undeniable with their closeness proven by a myriad of photos spanning a decade in addition to the apparent rift and bad blood between Diana and Fergie, who it seems both wanted the same man, Andrew, and due also to multiple witness statements and royal experts.

Diana’s former housekeeper Betty Andrews, for instance, has said previously, “We thought she’d [Diana] be with Prince Andrew”—many who knew Diana before her marriage wholeheartedly expected her to marry the man she clearly loved, Prince Andrew.

Royal biographer Andrew Morton, in his 1984 book Andrew: The Playboy Prince, said, “One of [Andrew’s] early chums was a certain Lady Diana Spencer whom he met when he was at Sandringham. As a youngster she always said she was going to marry Andrew. Right family, wrong name.”

In addition, dozens of photos exist that evidence the extraordinary closeness and intimacy between Diana and Andrew; links to the originals can be found below.

What’s Next for Harry and for the Royal Family and Will ‘the Sussexes’ Soon Choose to Be Commoners?

Harry’s bridges are mostly burnt at this stage; that’s what happens when you go into self-exile, engage in unending litigiousness and thereafter write an explosive tell-all.

However, if suddenly Harry realises that he is first in line to the throne; if suddenly he believes himself the rightful heir and the victim of the best-kept royal secret in history, the prince may choose to halt all litigation, refrain from writing Spare: Part Two and hurriedly relocate to the UK—perhaps coming to live in Kensington or Buckingham Palace before the new year.

If Andrew denies having an affair with Princess Diana; if Andrew denies fathering Prince William; if he denies anything and everything it will matter not as all will now instinctively believe the opposite of what Andrew says. None deem him to be of good character or honest, with that interview being an atrocious misstep from an overconfident man who has hitherto received nought but fawning and skewed feedback in regards to his ‘gift of the gab’ and acting ability. Denials from Andrew will be seen as a confirmation that he is William’s father and that he did engage in a protracted (circa ten-year on and off) affair with Diana, which likely derailed two royal marriages.

William deeply desires to return to Anglesey, return to air sea rescue; he desires authenticity, honesty and doing what brings him the most pleasure, which provides the most rewards to him. He feels overwhelmed by the responsibility and expectations of becoming the monarch; this is according to William himself. One can only speculate as to whether or not he is knowledgeable about the claim that Charles is not his father and if this knowledge is pushing him toward Anglesey and the Welsh coastline and far away from Buckingham Palace and the crown and the limelight.

And so it may come to pass that William does indeed follow his heart as he and his family leave the royal family, retiring honourably, perhaps not admitting to knowing previously about the Andrew-Diana connection or about the claims and revelations that have been brought to light within 33 Essential Questions for Prince Andrew.

William may stoically extricate himself and his family, declaring that the entire family, he and his heirs, are leaving wholesale and waving all royal rights and privileges and renouncing all titles as the press steers clear, gives that family space and peace, as they chart a new course, their own course.

William could ‘fight this thing’, he could deny Andrew is his father; he could deny his mother had an (obvious) affair with Andrew over a prolonged period of time, evidence of which is found within Andrew’s instalment of the 33 Essential Questions book series. Yet, if all we hear are denials, immediately there will be some who will ask, ‘William, are you part of this conspiracy? When did you first learn of these accusations? Why do you refuse to take a paternity test? Have you not seen the dozens of photos showing your mother touching, hugging and kissing Prince Andrew before and after you were born?’

The revelations about Andrew could be the perfect excuse William needs to leave the monarchy for good.

William can deny prior knowledge about the revelations presented within the pages of Andrew’s 33 Essential Questions or merely never mention that book or the claims by multiple persons as well as ignoring photographic evidence as he simply vacates, never to give a public statement again.

If William had long been wishing for something ‘miraculous’ to occur, which would extricate him from the royal family, this is it; this is the moment he chooses to either step up or step aside.

If he digs his heels in and ignores the claims, Harry will likely be more than just a little bit vocal; he will likely be quite interested in the claims and theories that have been presented. If William refuses (at Harry’s request) to provide a DNA sample to be compared to Charles’ and Andrew’s DNA, Harry will likely give the High Court in London a call as his immediate and loud return to the UK will be billed by some as the ‘Return of the King’.

Yet, William is unlikely to wish to ‘fight for the crown’ due to Anglesey calling to him like a siren and due to the weight of responsibility of being Head of State as well as father and husband and man crushing and depressing him. William needs seclusion and a simple life; he himself admits this and we should respect his wishes.

So what of Harry in the eventuality of William stepping aside and insisting his children, like himself, become fully detached from the royal family and the line of succession?

Several intriguing possibilities now present themselves.

If Harry wants to be king, he can simply board a plane, land in the UK some hours later, drop all court cases and ‘move on’ from his schism with the press. He can begin living in the present; he can pull Spare from bookstores and apologise about his unwise decision to write that tell-all (which I refute and debunk in 33 Essential Questions for Prince Harry) and soon thereafter ascend to the throne.

However, it is unlikely, hugely unlikely, that Meghan will be returning with the Prince. Harry may wish for her to remain on his arm, yet she has had a taste of royal duty and being ferried everywhere and watched and ‘curated’ and perhaps she would not desire to return to that life, but Harry would. I am confident that Harry would return, standing at his father’s side after William retires from the royal family and returns to Anglesey.

Within circa twelve months following Harry’s unexpected and triumphant return, a divorce would likely occur, with Meghan and the children she had with Harry losing royal titles and connection and privileges, with Harry then becoming single again, on the lookout for a queen.

Before too long a new royal line would be created with Harry becoming king following Charles’ abdication.

Yet, if Harry feels as though he has burnt his bridges, if it seems to him ‘too cringy’, ‘too awkward’ and too much like swallowing pride by returning to the UK and condemning Spare and apologising for being the epicentre of so much friction and acrimony, can he and Meghan still be known as ‘The Sussexes’? No.

If England (and the UK) need their king, their king and rightful heir possibly being Harry Wales, Prince Harry, and if he does not answer their call, he must be stripped of every royal title immediately—within the hour.

One cannot be a fair-weather royal; one cannot ‘dine out’ on their royal credentials and prestige yet not step up and serve the people when they need you to lead and protect them, no, no. Harry either returns a changed man, grown-up and stoic with duty and service on his mind, even if that crashes his marriage, or he drops the ‘Sussex’ titles, despite how profitable his attachment to the monarchy has been for him. If he had been a plumber his entire life, who would have purchased a copy of Spare? No one, no one.

If Harry refuses to be king, he will no longer be royal in any sense, not a working royal but a former royal.

And if he opts to remain with Meghan in LA, despite him being bitterly unhappy, drifting and lost there, the crown will go to either Anne or Edward, with the siblings likely ‘having a chat’ in private as to who will become the next monarch in a truly extraordinary set of circumstances.

Be it Anne or Edward, whoever becomes the next monarch (if Harry does not step forward) will strip Harry and his family of royal titles and connection, remove Andrew at once from Royal Lodge, give William and his family all the support and care they need and deserve and then confidently and optimistically set about making Great Britain and the monarchy great again.

The Harry arc is as theatrical as it is a hard-to-believe fairy-tale:

  1. Diana in love with Andrew.
  2. William, a love child, is born.
  3. Years later, Charles and Diana have a child, Harry.
  4. Diana’s star-crossed relationship with her childhood love, Andrew, crashes two royal marriages.
  5. Diana tragically dies in Paris.
  6. Harry drifts aimlessly for decades, consumed by depression, needing to prove himself, getting attention in all the wrong ways, causing scandals to ensue.
  7. Harry meets Meghan.
  8. Harry starts a family.
  9. Harry feels ‘unwanted’ or ‘pushed out’ and flees to the other side of the world.
  10. Harry battles the royal family from afar, even releasing a tell-all and engaging in litigation.
  11. Harry’s rocky relationship with Meghan, more a trauma bond than a marriage, ends in 2024 or 2025.
  12. Harry hits absolute rock bottom.
  13. Harry returns alone to England.
  14. Harry is informed he is the rightful heir.
  15. Charles abdicates.
  16. Harry becomes king.
  17. Harry gets remarried and produces heirs.
  18. Andrew is exiled.
  19. William returns to Anglesey.
  20. The End.
